Water Banking

Interlocal Agreement for Mudock Connector

The city council was recently asked to sign an interlocal agreement between Highland City and Utah county in connection with the Murdock Connector road. The agreement would limit the amount of money the County would contribute to the road. Read more about it on this link:

Stalled no more, canal piping moves ahead

Here is the link to an article in the Daily Herald dated March 11, 2010 about the canal going through a "high-end Highland neighborhood". Steve Cain says the pipeline is going through Pheasant Hollow. Highland Councilman drops bid to halt regional trail

There was also an article in the Tribune on March 4, 2010 about the Murdock Canal. It mentions that Ames Construction has been awarded the bid to enclose the Murdock Canal and the project will start next fall and take 4 years to complete. http://www.sltrib.com/ci_14506780?IADID=Search-www.sltrib.com-www.sltrib.com

The pipeline will go through our park and neighborhood and will not be moved south to align with the road.

Senator Bennet comes to Highland

Senator Bennett came to Highland and met with citizens who asked for help with the Murdock Siphon and the Drug Rehab house in a residential neighborhood.

Highland City Council Fires Lobbyist
